During this past 2 weeks we have been working on a paragraph about how its like being a teenager and how we change as we grow up. Another thing that we have been woking on is on READ 180 its a really fun program the last thing that we have been working on is a recipe on a special food that is specialin our families. This class has been fun these past 7 weeks and my teacher is great.

Last week we were trying a new thing.We got in three group.One was that read alone the other one were going to miss Jonhson and told her what did we read or sometime we read from the big green book. Then the other group were in the computer working on read180.This all started on a monday or tuesday.

Today in class we talk about vocabulary and it was fun ,we made a kist of now many words star with sh or end with shalso if they sound like if there was a sh .like ms.joshsons class like to come she does alot of good stuff .today in clas we are using tha internet to make our owm vocabulary and lear more words thta well hepl us in our daily lifes one of the words the we lear is coup and it means to take over a countryor government with force.to me the word was new i didnt know what it means in till did it in class.in clas we read a book call junping tree.i love to read or liste because it like it has happend to people in real life and it makes mi think of how hard is life for them living in does condisions.but i love how they keep goin and getting strong and allways finding a way out.

On this day we did many exiting things in class. At the beging of the hour we were looking for words that started and ended with the SH, We came up with alot of words that I would of never came up with myself .Then Mrs Johnson, my teacher read to us a book named The Jumping Tree. Later we took some notes on some vcocabulary words that i never knew about so it was nice to learn new words. After that we started reading a book that had to do with the Revolution more like a play that we read as a class.Later that hour we worked on groups, one group was working with the teacher they were talking about the meaning of revolution. Group B was silent reading and group C was coutinued reading the revolution act. The whole point of todays lesson was to learn what was the meaning of Revolution and the SH sound. I really enjoy working as a class and I love the idea that Mrs Johnson is my techer this year.

First Class

Today in class we covered the basics! The class took a short reading survey and we discussed the things I expect to see in class tomorrow: materials, on time and access to their school email. Tomorrow we will begin blogging and discussing the roles, rules and procedures for the class.
